What a start to the Playoffs on The Voice 2014 Season 6 last night, as Team Blake took the stage and fought for a spot on those live shows on The Voice USA Season 6! Blake Shelton had the problem of only being allowed to take three artists with him to the live shows, which meant he would have to say goodbye to two of them last night. She is a junior in high school and loves making short films and writing her own songs. This was Blake’s steal during The Battles Round 2 on The Voice USA 2014. He doesn’t think we have seen what she is capable of yet. He tells her she needs to get lost in the song though. I do agree with Blake and think Madilyn has a lot of potential, but she is so young and needs more work. There are better singers on his team and she might get hurt by that one.
Usher said that she did a good job. Shakira said she was understated, but powerful. Adam Levine said that she needed to let go while performing. Blake said that Madilyn doesn’t sound like anybody else.
